For purchases, it's as simple as using a credit card, but it works like a check. Here's why:
  • You'll sign a sales slip just like a credit card. You don't need to enter a Personal Identification Number (P1N) or anything else.
  • The purchase amount is deducted from available funds (up to your daily card limit) in your Carilion Federal Credit Union share draft account and recorded on your monthly statement.

What accounts can I access?

For ATM use, you will be able to access the share draft and/or share savings account you designate on the application to the right. Visa Check Card purchases will be deducted only from your Carilion Federal Credit Union share draft account.

No fees for Visa Check Card purchases.

There are no fees when you make Visa Check Card purchases. However, there may be a fee for any withdrawal or transfer made at a non-Carilion Federal Credit Union ATM.
